Magnolia Creek Tessa’s Piet (Piet)
We are so lucky to have Piet in our lives. And while we may be biased, we think Piet is the best boy in the world. Certainly, he is the best dog we have ever had. He is an exemplar of the breed – super loving, happy, loyal to us and his family and friends, smart, handsome, active, alert – and yes, a bit stubborn and
mischievous! While he definitely has a mind of his own, he does like to please us, and he’s done great with consistent, gentle training. He’s a big boy – 55 pounds – and has a nice, stocky but lean build. People frequently stop us on the street when we’re walking him to tell us how beautiful he is. Piet loves hugs, kisses, and snuggling most of all. He also loves long walks, playing with his many neighborhood friends, hiking, going to the beach, stand-up paddleboarding, going to restaurants and the
Farmer’s Market, and traveling. Piet has done several agility classes, but he decided it wasn’t really his thing. He’s also not interested in retrieving. He excels at safe-guarding our yard from small furry animals and keeping an eye out for intruders.
