First of all I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be part of this amazing breed.
Over the years I have owned several different breeds. Australian shepherds, Chow, Sheltie and Golden Retriever.
So, when we were looking for a dog, I decided to research a breed that liked water, around 50lbs and a life expectancy of 12 plus years.
In January 2016, I went on the wait list to get a Stabyhoun. I was adamant about what dog we were getting. We were going to wait. Pauline called and offered us a pup. We were #3 for a male with her litter due in March.
In May we were going to Niagra Falls which was the same week they would be 8 weeks old. So, when we came home, we took a detour to Berrie, Canada and picked up Bambam. He is perfect. Since then, we got another staby, in Oct. 2020 from Cindy, Pebbles. In March of 2022 we brought Arie into our family, he is one of Bambam and Tessa’s puppies from 2018 litter.
So now we have three Stabyhouns. Due to Health issues Pebbles will not be bred. Bambam is on the male breeding list. He has one litter of five. Arie was fixed before we got him.
A little about me. Married (Regina) daughter we call her Magee and her dog Lily. I own a Funeral Home. I have a degree in Mortuary Science. I enjoy the water, warm weather, camping and love my dogs.
